After dishing on her love for the dairy-free milk alternative, she gave us this tasty vegan drink recipe. Not only is it a delicious way to start the day (or get through an afternoon), it is chockful of healthy ingredients.
Veronica Bosgraaf’s Vegan Iced Almond Latte
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 of a small pitted, peeled avocado
- 1 teaspoon raw cacao powder
- 1 small banana
- 1 cup coffee ice (freeze coffee in an ice tray)
- In a blender, combine almond milk, avocado, cacao, and banana. Blend all ingredients until creamy.
- Serve over coffee ice.
