If you’re tired of spread of plain vegan butter across your toast, make a spicy butter by adding minced radishes. Red radishes add a lovely color while daikon radish lends a more pungent bite. Slather this radish butter atop crackers, use as a sandwich spread, or nestle into a hot baked potato.
Makes 1 cup
- 3/4 cup soft vegan butter
- 1/4 cup minced radish (or to taste)
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh chives or other herb of your choice
- In a small bowl, stir all of the ingredients together and serve.
